Darcy’s Sand Control System offers enhanced options for Wellbore and Sandface support providing a positively compliant Screen, a Premium Filter and where necessary an integral ICD, a world’s first combination.
The Darcy system eliminates the most common failure modes associated with Conventional Sand Control methods. The Darcy system eliminates the Annular Gap by a unique activation system ensuring the system remains positively compliant with the Sandface to maintain wellbore support.
The system has significantly higher inflow area which minimises the flowing velocity through the screen, avoiding screen erosion.
The systems robust construction and collapse resistance provides a “life of well” solution even in the most challenging environments including Low Pressure, Shallow and Heavy Oil Reservoirs as well as Injection or Gas Storage Wells and Brownfield locations.
